
BLS (Basic Life Saving) Class
BLS classes are offered at Madison Health for the public and healthcare providers. Participants will learn how to perform rescue breathing and chest compressions on adults, children, and infants. They will also learn to use the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and how to help a choking victim.
This class is suitable for individuals who require either New Certifications or Re-Certifications for CPR/BLS (Basic Life Saving). Cost is $50 per person and includes a workbook.

CPR Heartsaver Class
This class teaches basic CPR skills and is designed for individuals who are in non-clinical fields. This course does not meet criteria for those healthcare providers who must be BLS/HCP certified. Cost for the combined class is $40 per person.

First Aid Class
community. The three-hour class uses the American Heart Association guidelines.
First aid is the immediate care that is given to someone with an illness or injury before trained help arrives or takes over. Trained help includes someone whose job is taking care of people who are ill or injured such as an EMS responder, nurse or doctor.
Classes cost $40 and include a workbook.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
All classes are offered in the Park Avenue Medical Building Conference Room (unless indicated otherwise) located at 55 Park Avenue. All participants must pre-register to attend the class. We accept cash or check. No credit or debit cards please.
All classes follow COVID-19 CDC guidelines; masks are required. Class sizes are limited.
