The Foundation was created as a separate non-profit organization in 1974 and is administered by a local Board of Trustees. Whether a donation is given for a specific purpose or with no restrictions, the Foundation trustees ensure that each gift is properly managed and utilized as intended by the donor.
Contributions to the Foundation make it possible for the hospital to:
- Enhance patient care services
- Purchase state-of-the-art equipment
- Complete expansion and renovation projects
