Donors of Madison Health Foundation give in a variety of ways. Whether it’s supporting the Foundation directly or through the Auxiliary, every gift is valued and appreciated.
Charitable gifts to the Madison Health Foundation can be made in a variety of ways, and our team is available to work with you on achieving your strategic philanthropic goals.
A convenient and budget-friendly way to give at any amount. Bank EFT or credit cards make it easy. Checks are also accepted.
Stock and Securities
Appreciated stocks and securities can be transferred directly to the Foundation.
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD’s) And Required Minimum Distributions (RMD’s)
IRAs, 401(k)s, and other eligible retirement accounts may require owners to take a distribution, which can be done through a direct rollover without having a tax consequence. As early as age 70½, a QCD can be made directly to a qualified charity like the Madison Health Foundation. A QCD may help satisfy your RMD and reduce your taxable income.
Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
Donor Advised Fund (DAF) allows you to meet your charitable goals for now and into the future.
Bequests
Naming Madison Health Foundation in your will, estate plans, and/or as a life insurance policy beneficiary pays it forward.
Charitable Gift Annuities or Charitable Remainder Trusts
These giving vehicles that can provide you with income during your lifetime.
Matching Gifts
Many companies, through their corporate philanthropy commitments, will match employee and/or retiree donations to 501(c)(3) organizations such as the Madison Health Foundation.

RECOGNIZING YOUR SUPPORT
Generosity transforms and inspires. All donors are recognized on the digital display in the hospital lobby. Annual contributions of $100 or more provide membership to the Madison Health Corporation and invitations to certain events.
Cornerstone Club
The community of donors showing their support through monthly, quarterly, or annual gifts totaling $100- $2,000 per year.
Keystone Society
The Keystone Society recognizes generous benefactors who donate $10,000 or more. This donation can be fulfilled in a single gift or pledge, arranged through the Foundation, and may include a variety of ways or giving.
Additional levels of membership, within the Keystone Society, recognize those who have made lasting and impactful contributions.
Members of the Keystone Society enjoy a welcome gift and invitations to special Keystone, Foundation, and hospital events.
Legacy Circle
Planned gifts are made in a lifetime or at death as part of a donor’s overall financial and/or estate planning. Some examples include a bequest in a will, establishing a charitable remainder trust, or donating a life insurance policy. By including the Foundation in estate plans, donors can potentially reduce taxes through planned gifts of appreciated assets like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or real estate. *
Legacy Circle members are recognized in their lifetime and receive invitations to special events.
Honor a Caregiver with a Gift of Gratitude
Recognizing a physician or staff member for the great care you or your loved one received can be part of the healing process. A Gift of Gratitude acknowledges their efforts and helps make a meaningful impact on future patients. A special recognition is held for staff honored through this program and includes the donor, if desired.
Memorials and Tributes – Rejoice and Remember
Donations through the Rejoice & Remember program provide a thoughtful and lasting way to celebrate a special occasion or honor the memory of friends and family. Notification of the Rejoice and Remember honoree is sent to the person or family designated by the donor.
Business Partners
Strong business collaboration is vital to the hospital’s mission and the growth of the community. Annual or special charitable gift contributions are philanthropic investments that accelerate hospital programs and services.
Business Partners may enjoy catered recognition and naming opportunities, giving schedules to fit businesses’ needs, customized events and tours, and invitations to special events.
Foundation Event Sponsorships
Foundation Event Sponsorships provide an impactful marketing opportunity for businesses. For businesses who have made a charitable donation, sponsorship support is considered part of cumulative giving.
